Description
Provide volunteers to assist tournament players before, during and after match play. Must be friendly, able to lift, and familiar with tennis tournament etiquette.
The US Open USTA Wheelchair Championship needs volunteers in the following roles:
- Player assistant – 30 each day, 6 days
- Transporting player's sport wheelchairs and equipment to and from their match court.
- Monitor two courts and respond to any needs required by the player or official.
- Volunteers will tidy courts between matches.
Volunteers will need to bring:
- Rain Gear or hat and sun block
- Khaki shorts/pants
- Tennis shoes
- Shirts provided
